Job Description Outpatient Gastroenterology OpportunityOur organization is on the lookout for a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Outpatient Gastroenterologist to become part of a thriving practice that prioritizes exceptional patient care, teamwork, and a fulfilling work atmosphere.We are affiliated with a 417-bed regional tertiary care facility, recognized as a Level 2 Trauma Center, featuring a cutting-edge endoscopy suite staffed by skilled professionals.The compensation package includes a base salary of $800,000, with productivity bonuses available from the outset. Additionally, there are starting and retention bonuses that can reach up to $180,000. Other perks encompass relocation support, reimbursement for continuing medical education (CME), paid malpractice insurance, and a comprehensive benefits package.Our team benefits from Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support, which includes two fellowship-trained gastroenterology specialists. All hospital and emergency department calls are managed by the inpatient GI service. Hepatology and transplant support is provided by visiting subspecialists twice a month, along with a full-time, experienced hepatology APP. ERCP call is an option for qualified physicians interested in participating. We utilize Epic EMR and the latest Provation software for endoscopy documentation. Our general surgery team is experienced and offers 24/7 in-house trauma and acute care services. A colorectal fellowship-trained surgeon is set to join our team in the fall of 2025. Our pathology department includes two specialists with GI pathology fellowships.
