Tax SeniorPosition OverviewThe Tax Senior will play a crucial role in our tax department, providing expert guidance and services to our clients in areas including partnerships, non-profit organizations, and business tax compliance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing tax engagements, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and delivering high-quality tax planning and consulting services.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships and non-profit organizations, including Forms 1065 and 990.Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis to support client needs and identify tax savings opportunities.Review tax returns prepared by junior staff and provide mentorship to develop their skills.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact clients and the firm.Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.Assist in tax planning strategies and make recommendations to clients based on their specific situations.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.CPA or EA designation required.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting or a tax-focused role.Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, non-profit tax compliance, and business tax regulations.Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.BenefitsDiscretionary bonus program9 paid holidays & Unlimited paid time off (PTO)Flexible work environmentYearly gym allowanceMedical, dental, and vision coverage100% firm-paid short-term disability and life insurance401(k) match
