This opportunity is temporary employment for engineering students who are seeking a summer internship. This is a paid internship for 40 hours (except holidays) with pay set at $21.00. The position will likely begin in May or June, 2026 and concluding early August, 2026. The role is 100% In Person at our Huntsville, AL site.The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated manufacturing engineering student who is ready for a challenging internship in a fast-paced, electronics manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Assist in the assembly of production pre-production buildsAid in development of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI)Aid in development and execution of product build instructionsCollaborate with engineering peers on product manufacturing process improvementsCollaborate with engineering peers on implementing manufacturing toolsCollaborate with engineering peers on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews for design enhancementCollect manufacturing and test data, analyze, recommend and implement improvementsVerify completed work, checking dimensions, materials to be used and quantities per the verification planAssist in implementation of Kaizens and lean six sigma effortsProficient with MS Office SuitesCAD experience a plusEducation: Pursuing a 4 year Engineering DegreeGeographical Location: Huntsville, ALPhysical Location: Huntsville, ALShift: Shift 1Work Schedule: M-F 0800-1630Full Time over the summer.Export Control: This job position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws.
