Blood Donor Ambassador

Job DescriptionIf the donors don't know, they won't show! Join our team as a Blood Donor Ambassador for our Mobile Apheresis team at OneBlood. As a Blood Donor Ambassador (or Donor Recruiter), you will be recruiting potential blood donors at promotional, community, and corporate blood drives to ensure a drive meets its desired projection.RESPONSIBILITIES:Greets, interacts with and encourages potential donors to donateDisplays posters/signs supplying information to potential donorsAssists with donor refreshments and/or gifts when requested by designated staffAssists in maintaining relationship between blood drive chairpersons and organization. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Competitive Salary: $18.50/hour plus $3-$5 Weekend Shift DifferentialPTO403b retirement planEmployee assistance program!QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent experienceValid driver’s license and clear driving record with the ability to commute with reliable transportationOpen availability with no schedule restrictionsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general publicAbility to speak, write, read, and understand EnglishBasic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work outdoors 100% of the time with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, fumes and/or poor ventilation, wetness, humidity, rain, temperature and noise extremes, machinery and/or moving vehiclesPrevious experience in sales, canvasing, door to door sales, B2B sales, customer service preferred.
