Under the supervision of the Distribution Manager, the Distribution Specialist will learn how to perform daily tasks in the distribution department in an accurate and time-efficient manner. The Distribution Specialist may be assigned independent projects and may also participate in the creation of special projects.Responsibilities and DutiesArrive on time for all scheduled shifts and communicate with all team members in a professional manner.Accurately identify product quality and count.Maintain and improve inventory accuracy.Prepare products for orders.Package orders accurately and in a timely manner to meet order shipping datesUse and comply with universal safety precautions to protect self and co-workers from biohazardous materials.Exhibit proper handling of potentially hazardous chemical and biological agents and/or radiation sources in the workplace.Monitor inventory levels and proper storage of materials and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures.Must be able to routinely lift to 70lbs and stand for long periods of time.
