The Sales Associate will build strong relationships with distributors and restaurant clients while promoting high-quality food products.This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food culture, enjoys working directly with customers, and thrives in a dynamic, relationship-driven sales environment.Key Responsibilities:Account Management & Business DevelopmentDevelop and maintain relationships with distributors and restaurant clientsIdentify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach and networkingExpand and manage existing accounts to drive sales growthSales Activities & Customer EngagementConduct regular client visits within assigned territories (including out-of-state travel)Present products and propose solutions based on customer needsSupport product demonstrations, tastings, trade shows, and sales presentationsProvide timely and high-quality customer serviceSales Operations & Market InsightsTrack and maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactionsGather market intelligence and support sales strategy developmentCollaborate with internal teams and distributor partners to ensure smooth operationsParticipate in weekend work and travel as requiredPerform additional duties as assignedQualifications:3+ years of sales experience in manufacturing or distribution2+ years of experience in the food industry preferredExperience working with food distributors and/or restaurant clientsStrong communication and relationship-building skillsAbility to present products to groups effectivelyWillingness to travel domestically (including outside of California)Valid driver's license requiredPreferred Attributes:Strong interest in food, especially noodles or Japanese cuisineSelf-motivated with a proactive and results-driven mindsetOrganized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
