Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in thoracic and vascular operating room environments to contribute to a dynamic surgical team. This contract opportunity involves working with a Level 1 trauma center renowned for advanced procedures, within an OR setting of over 1,000 beds, including 56 OR suites and 5 procedural rooms.Schedule/Hours:12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (9:00 AM to 9:00 PM).Days vary based on unit needs; block scheduling is not available.Flexibility for late stays required depending on surgical load.Required Qualifications:Active RN license (Tennessee or compact state) on file at time of submission.Current certification (submit proof with application).Minimum of 2 years' recent operating room experience.Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred.Thoracic/vascular team experience is mandatory.Proficient in endovascular cases as a circulator and scrub; must have scrub experience.Comfortable with transplant, trauma, neuro, and other complex case types.Experience with adult patients only (no pediatrics).Key Responsibilities:Circulate and scrub on thoracic, vascular, and endovascular surgical cases for adult patients.Support a wide spectrum of cases: neuro, trauma, ortho, GYN, urology, cardiothoracic, transplant, plastics, robotic, and more.Provide collaborative care in a fast-paced OR suite, occasionally floating between rooms as needed.Remain flexible to meet rapidly changing case schedules, late stays, and evolving unit needs.This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary specialists in a renowned surgical facility equipped with hybrid rooms and advanced technology.
