Position Details Job Title: Junior Java Developer / Lead Java Engineer
Location: New Jersey (Hybrid - 4 days onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Work Arrangement: Local or nearby candidates preferred
Salary:
- Java Developer: Up to $110,000 annually, including 10% QPLCLead Java Engineer: Up to $130,000 annually, including 10% QPLCRequired Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices
- Experience with Apache Kafka and REST APIsKnowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Apache Flink, Apache Iceberg, and PySparkFamiliarity with JUnit, Maven/Gradle, ETL/ELT, and data pipelines
- Understanding of CI/CD, data streaming, and distributed systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable Java applications and data pipelines.
- Build real-time and batch data processing workflows.
- Develop and integrate secure, high-performance REST APIs.
- Optimize data processing and storage using Kafka, Flink, and Iceberg.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
