Network Engineer

Robert Half Technology is recruiting for a Network Engineer II for a highly stable, well-known enterprise organization with a large, multi-site network environment. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on network engineer who enjoys supporting complex infrastructure, working with modern networking tools, and helping drive network reliability across hundreds of locations.Responsibilities:Support and optimize a large-scale WAN, LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environmentTroubleshoot advanced network issues across routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and firewallsWork hands-on with Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Aruba SD-WANAssist with network design, implementation, upgrades, and strategic infrastructure projectsPartner with cybersecurity teams on network security, firewall policies, and remediation effortsSupport remote site connectivity and help maintain uptime across a distributed enterprise environmentMentor junior team members and contribute to best practices, documentation, and technical standardsQualifications:5+ years of enterprise network engineering experienceStrong experience with routing and switchingHands-on SD-WAN experience, preferably Aruba EdgeConnect / Silver PeakFirewall experience, preferably Palo AltoExperience supporting multi-site or distributed network environmentsStrong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skillsNice to have: Arista, Juniper, wireless networking, OCI, Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows appliancesSalary / Work Modality:Salary: $120,000 – $140,000Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMWork modality: 100% onsite in Orange County, CAOccasional travel to remote sites may be requiredIf you are a hands-on Network Engineer who enjoys complex enterprise environments and wants to join a highly stable organization with long-term growth potential, please apply or reach out to Robert Half Technology for more details.
