Learn more at www.Railserve.comJob DescriptionThe Locomotive Mechanic is responsible for maintaining Railserve's fleet of locomotives to ensure safe, reliable operations throughout the region. This position supports the company's ability to serve customers by performing scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and responding to equipment repair needs in the field.This role works closely with operations teams and customers to maintain locomotive reliability while ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and maintenance standards. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, inspections, documentation, and troubleshooting of locomotive systems and components.The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working independently in outdoor industrial environments.
