Through digitalisation and electrification, we strive to develop drive and power generation solutions that provide answers to the challenges posed by the rapidly growing societal demands for energy and mobility.We deliver and service comprehensive, powerful and reliable systems, based on both gas and diesel engines, as well as electrified hybrid systems. These technologically advanced solutions serve our customers in the marine and infrastructure sectors worldwide.The Human Resources Intern will support the local HR People Partner on a wide range of HR tasks and projects. This year long assignment offers hands-on experience across all aspects of Human Resources management. responsibilities include assisting with employee recruitment and onboarding, performing Human Resources Information System (HRIS) data entry, generating reports and providing general support to managers.What You’ll Be DoingObserving and learning about all areas of Human ResourcesGetting introduced to the software systems used throughout the departmentBecoming familiar with and supporting Rolls-Royce and mtu onsite energy human resources processesGaining awareness of applicable federal and state employment lawsMaintaining employee personnel files and assist with recruiting and new hire onboardingAssisting with answering employee inquiries regarding pay, time off and benefitsAccurately auditing employee personnel filesReviewing and auditing employment compliance practices, e.g. mandated postingsWho We’re Looking ForKnowledge of basic Human Resources principlesProficient in Microsoft OfficeGood command of the English language – both oral and writtenAbility to organize and manage multiple tasks and to prioritize accordinglyProficient in data analyticsMust be able to maintain a very high level of confidentialityOur behaviors drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference.
