Lobby Attendant - Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center

Renaissance Framingham Hotel is seeking a friendly and detail orientated Lobby Attendant to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel public areas and providing assistance to the housekeeping team with stocking and delivery of supplies. To be successful in this role, you should be able to manage various tasks daily to ensure great customer service and that our operations run smoothly.General Responsibilities:Receive list of assignments and/or shift checklist from MOD and prioritize itemsRespond promptly to requests from guests and other departmentsCheck the inventory of cleaning cart and add necessary supplies; transport cart to assigned work areasClean and maintain the appearance of the exterior of hotel including but not limited to, sidewalks, awning poles, signage and hotel entranceDeep cleaning of assigned areas of hotel including, but not limited to, shampooing of rooms and public area carpets, window washing, light fixtures and guest elevatorsClean and maintain back of house area including, but not limited to, employee break room, executive offices, hotel laundry area and employee restroomDust, polish furniture and remove marks /stains from walls and furnishingRemove all trash, dirty linens, towels and room service items from public areasVacuum carpets and clean floorsDeliver items to guest rooms upon request from front deskEnsure soiled linens are laundered, which may include loading hotel washers and dryers and folding sheets and towelsClean guest rooms on occasionNotify maintenance department of needed maintenance or repairsClean and set up function /meeting rooms according to function sheetsMove and arrange furniture, turn mattressesEmpty trash receptacles and transport trash to dumpsterTake found items to designated lost and found areaProvide support to room attendantsPerform other duties as assignedWe've got you covered: Benefits & PerksMedical Insurance with Company-Funded HRADental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsWide-Array of Supplemental Insurance OfferingsPaid Time Off ProgramsEmployee Assistance Program401K Plan - Traditional & Roth Options with Employer MatchHotel Discount Travel Program for Associates & FamilyExclusive Associate Discounts - Travel, Entertainment, & RetailTraining and Development ProgramsCareer Advancement OpportunitiesRequirements:Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper preferredPerform consistent work at the highest standardRemain discreet and respect privacy of guestsWork quickly without compromising qualityAbility to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performanceExcellent customer service skills, pleasant and friendlyDetail oriented and thoroughWillingness to work rotational 7-day work cycle, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysCompensation:Hourly Range: $17.00 to $18.00Colwen Hotels is an equal opportunity employer.
