Preconstruction Manager / Estimator - Boca Raton, Miami, Tampa

Job Description Position Summary This full-time position will interface with the President, Project Executive, and key members of the operations team for the project to help compile comprehensive budgets and GMP. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Manage multiple projects meeting estimating responsibilities & deadlines. * Manage a Design Build Project from Concept to Final Contract Award. * Perform accurate quantity survey of materials, Skin Study & GSF using Bluebeam. * Ability to "Fill in the Gaps " for missing information from drawings (Most Trades). * Assemble detailed estimates (All Trades), providing takeoff & unit pricing. * Review Drawings for missing information and write RFI's. * Develop bid tab sheets for multiple trades to ensure accurate scope. * Provide Cost Savings suggestions by Trade. * Focus on Risk Management regarding qualifications, scope and constructability issues. * Document Review & RFIs: Provide Completeness Reviews & Constructability of Design Documents.EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE* Education: Graduate from College/University; 4-Year Degree. * Experience: Minimum of Five (5) Years' previous work experience in Preconstruction. * Self-Management: Ability to successfully self-manage work assigned with very little direction. * Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of Summary level and detailed level pricing, by Trade. * Soft Skills: Possess critical thinking and analytical skills. * Technical Reading: Ability to read specifications with clear understanding of subject matter of Trade Specialists. * Scope & Pricing: General Knowledge of Trade Specific Scope Responsibilities & Unit Pricing. * Plan Proficiency: Ability to read, interpret & understand plans proficiently, from Conceptual Drawings to 100% CDs. * Constructability: Working knowledge of constructability details and ability to recognize cost saving opportunities of Multiple Trades. * Conceptual Skill: Possess detailed knowledge of Trade Specific Scope without having specific information on Design Documents. * Communication: Ability to communicate and manage Trade Contractors for Scope-specific Proposals; ability to communicate internally & externally with Operations, Staff, and Owners.Company Description About Us Vensure Employer Solutions is the largest privately held organization in the HR technology and service sector, providing a comprehensive portfolio of solutions, including HR/HCM technology, managed services, and global business process outsourcing (BPO).
