MISSIONThe Associate Wealth Advisor at Hapanowicz & Associates is an integral part of our team serving as the true connection between our clients, support team, and advisors. This great communicator, influencer and enthusiastic person will support the vision, values, positive culture, and team spirit.The Associate Wealth Advisor assists the Advisory Team to provide financial planning and investment management work, either, under the management of higher-level professionals or on their own. They assist clients by acting as an Advisory point of contact for client follow-ups as well as financial planning preparation.The Associate Wealth Advisor engages with clients as directed, supports other Wealth Advisors to build out financial plans, and coordinates client related requests with other departments. They have obtained the proper licensing and experience to work directly with clients.II. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIESClient and Advisory Engagement:Works closely with both the Senior and Lead Wealth Advisors to develop planning expertise.Works directly with clients as secondary point of contact in the advisory team.Analyzes client information and evaluates results to choose the best financial planning solution within the Hapanowicz & Associates client experience.Build out client financial plans and investment proposals as directed by the Senior and Lead Wealth Advisor.Communicates financial plan to Senior and Lead Wealth Advisor to identify the client’s needs, objectives, goals, concerns withing the planning software.Ensures client data is captured in the meeting and compiled in the firm’s financial planning software, CRM, and other related software applications.Identifies gaps and opportunities within client plans and works closely with the Managing and Lead Wealth Advisors to present solutions to the client.Develop financial planning expertise to support the firm’s clients by building and understanding of time value of money: present value, future value, annuity payments, internal rate of return, as well other financial planning modeling scenarios.Supports the client onboarding process by completing financial plan and investment proposal within the appropriate software applications.ComplianceComplies with all regulatory requirementsIII. POSITION SPECIFICATIONSExperience and Education:Bachelor’s degree with pursuit of CFP®0-2 years direct advisory focusDevelopment in core financial planning and development of core client studiesSkills and Knowledge:Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and listening)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite requiredKnowledge of investment advisory regulations preferredDemonstrates personal integrity, honesty, and can deal with confidential informationAbility to deal with stress in an ever-changing investment market and financial services industryExcellent time management and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and anticipate potential problems
