Development and Test Engineer III
Job Description
ENSCO, Inc. Mission Systems Group (MSG) is seeking a contingent opportunity for a Development and Test Engineer to support a technical and operational support services contract. The position is located in Suitland, Maryland.
The Development and Test Engineer will perform development and test activities working with the Traffic Coordination System for Space (TraCSS) System Integration (SI) contractor to maintain a software DevTest pipeline that will address operational needs.
Duties will include:
The integration of third-party Space Situational Awareness (SSA) vendors
Work with the Presentation Layer vendor to ensure operational needs and appropriate user feedback is incorporated into updates
Oversee integrated work flows across all vendors, and work with the IT/Infrastructure staff to ensure the DevTest pipeline maintains appropriate security measures.
Perform monitoring and analysis of space traffic products and computational processes.
Qualifications Required (Skills)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development and testing
B.S. in Computer Science or related field (experience can be substituted for degree)
Experience with Agile methods and practices.
IAT Level II Cyber Security Certification or higher (CCNA, Sec+, etc…)
Experience with the NASA Debris Prediction Program (NDPP), or very large networks and millions of data transactions
Experience with Dev Test activities
ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A DOD SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE FOR WHICH, YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
