Senior MuleSoft Application Developer sought to provide Design, Development, Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Functional and User Acceptance Testing and Production implementation support and Knowledge Transfer for MuleSoft Integrations supporting the Governor's Office of Information Technology - Sales and Use Tax GIS Implementation Project. This project will return information about sales tax rates for specific addresses entered through a user interface or provided via Mulesoft API. Aside from integrating with GIS and tax systems, the body of work will also entail configuring database and storage assets on AWS, therefore strong AWS proficiency is required. Development of search logic to identify appropriate sales tax rates will also be a required element.Activities & Deliverables for Senior MuleSoft Application Developer:Technical Design Document capturing MuleSoft functional and nonfunctional details utilizing OIT Integrations design templates; RAML definition for all interfacesDeveloped and Unit Tested MuleSoft Applications checked into OIT's code repository and deployed through OIT's Continuous Integration toolchain into development & test environments & relying on mUnit framework for validation of thus developed artifactsEstablishing mUnit framework and associated quality assurance processes to support validations of MuleSoft assets developed during the course of the projectAssuring adherence to security, audit compliance and error handling requirementsActively participate in Agile sprint ceremonies (sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review / product demo and sprint retrospective)Resolution of tasks and defects within the project backlogConduct Design Walkthroughs, Code Reviews and Technical Coaching as warrantedDocument and publish artifacts in OIT Anypoint Exchange instanceCreate and update operational Run BookCreate and update production cutover plan and execute production cutover activitiesDesign,configure and validate AWS Services required for fulfillment of project objectives (S3)Design and develop application business logic for search of address points and tax data among a master address file or set of files maintained in AWS S3 bucket. If an address is not found, address search will be directed to a geographic analysis process. Business logic may be coded in Java, .NET or other appropriate development framework.Conduct knowledge transfer to OIT stakeholdersOther duties as assignedIt is anticipated that this work will be in duration of 8 months - has to be completed by June 30th 2020. .
