Manufacturing Manager

A growing manufacturing organization in the Evansville area is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to help drive operational performance, strengthen leadership capabilities, and support continued growth across the facility. This role offers significant visibility within the organization and the opportunity to influence day-to-day operations while helping shape the site's future direction.This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys developing people, and has a passion for improving processes, productivity, and overall plant performance.Key Responsibilities• Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives are achieved• Partner closely with production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to drive operational excellence• Establish and monitor key performance indicators while creating accountability through effective communication and leadership routines• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, throughput, waste reduction, and cost optimization• Develop frontline supervisors and production teams through coaching, mentoring, and performance management• Support equipment reliability efforts by collaborating with maintenance and engineering on preventive and predictive maintenance strategies• Identify operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions that improve performance and scalability• Participate in capital projects, equipment installations, process improvements, and capacity expansion effortsQualifications• Progressive leadership experience within a manufacturing environment• Demonstrated success leading teams and driving measurable operational improvements• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, performance metrics, and continuous improvement methodologies• Experience in chemicals, automotive, packaging, plastics, metals, or other process-driven manufacturing environments is highly desirable• Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on leadership approach on the production floorEOE
