The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic security architecture, risk management framework, and the operational cybersecurity execution on a global scale. This pivotal role involves leading the transition to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, with a focus on formalizing the GOVERN function and enhancing risk quantification, AI governance, and secure architectural standards. The CISO will also oversee the development and maintenance of all global security policies, shift the security program towards financial risk modeling, and ensure privacy and data protection governance across the organization's worldwide operations.Key responsibilities for the CISO include implementing the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, establishing security requirements for AI and data engineering, and providing independent oversight of cyber operations and IT infrastructure teams. The role demands a leader with a strong technical background in cloud architectures, manufacturing/OT environments, and AI/ML platforms, as well as the ability to influence and drive outcomes across global teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NIST CSF 2.0, NIST AI RMF 1.0, and global data privacy regulations, and be adept at balancing business objectives with security requirements.
