Vehicle Patrol Security Officer - Ventura - Dayshift

As a Security Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of various client locations.Responsibilities are subject to change and are not limited or guaranteed to include the following:Patrolling residential and commercial properties both randomly and regularly, while creating detailed reports based on your observationsEnforce private property rules and regulations and investigate disturbances promptlyTake accurate and thorough notes of any unusual occurrencesReporting in detail any suspicious incidents to the appropriate authoritiesProtecting the company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment at all timesThis role requires vigilance, attention to detail, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.Extensive training will be provided by a Security Supervisor. Local candidates only. Pay Range:$18 per hour to $20 per hourDaytime Schedule, Weekends RequiredBasic RequirementsBe at least 18 years old (BPC Section 7582.8)Possess a High School diploma or GED equivalentMust possess or be willing to obtain a valid California Guard Card issued by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). Undergo a criminal history background check through the California Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) (BPC Sections 7581 and 7583.9)Basic reading, writing, and communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyMust be physically fit, able to stand or walk for extended periodsMust be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysStrong attention to detail and situational awareness. Good judgement and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and appearance. Reliable and punctualPosition RequirementsStrong computer usage knowledge and ability to type at least 45 WPMGood driving record and active driver’s license is requiredExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocolsSurveillance skills and detail orientationIntegrity and professionalism Typing test will be administered during the interview.
