You will have the opportunity to work with industry leaders as you grow and develop in your career, and will take on increasing challenges are you’re ready. This position can be hired at a Level I or II depending on where you are in your career development.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor of Science (or higher) education in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in power systems. 0 – 5 years minimum experience in a power systems role depending on the level of position applied for. Experience with PSS/E and PSLF is preferred. Demonstrated technical capabilities and strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)Demonstrated attention to detail and high standards for producing quality reports and work output.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Perform power system impact studies including load flow, short circuit, and dynamic stability analysis. Prepare reports, letters, one-line diagrams and transmission maps.Process, generate and maintain data as required for other engineering related studies.Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives.Identify training needs and present to the Engineering Manager.Perform other duties as assigned.Power Systems Engineer will progress from Level I to Level III with time and based on the performance and capability to undertake more complex assignments as described below.Please send your resume to premnath@astacrs.com
