Job Title – Hardware Testing EngineerLocation – Austin, TX (Onsite)Hire Type – ContractResponsibilities are as follows:Support FW Engineering Dock team for Dock related validationAble to work independently on troubleshooting of reported issues, including general triage & debugCoordination with key stakeholders from development teams, architects and PMs for resolution of open issuesWork with architects on new proof-of-concept feature setup and validation executionCollection and analysis of debug logs, analyzer logs including Logic Analyzer, USB Analyzer, PD Analyzer, and DP Aux AnalyzerFamiliar with testing in different types of network environmentProvide weekly status reports for reported issues and progress and validation progress report for proof-Of-Concepts features to distribute to relevant stakeholdersKnowledge and Skills:Computer Engineering/EE/Computer science degreeAble to work independently with minimal instructionsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsHighly proficient with Windows 10 & 11Experience working well with partners, internal and external.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsUSB/USB-C related knowledgeExperienced with Docking TechnologiesExperienced with PD (Power Delivery) protocolExperienced with DisplayPort protocolExperienced with Network protocolsExperienced with Debug toolsLogic analyzer (Saleae)USB analyzerPD analyzerDP aux analyzer
