Your responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: Assemble a variety of new and refurbished slewing bearings. This is a 3rd shift position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Assembly and inspection on all models of slewing bearings and other necessary assembly workOperate bridge crane, computer and programs, specialized hand tools, measuring equipment, etc.Must have ability to read and understand prints, work instructions and standard operating proceduresPerform torque tests and various clearance measurementsKeep inventory count of materialManage waste removal from departmentCommunicate department needs with supervisorWork professionally with outside vendors and customersMaintain equipment and tools to proper working orderAbility to work overtime or weekends as neededPerform 6S safety responsibilities in work areaPerform tasks as assigned by supervisorSKILLS AND ABILITIES:Effective communication skills required. Knowledge of electronic equipment and computer hardware / software. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED. Previous machining experience and practices required. Blueprint and GD&T knowledge is necessary. EXPORT CONTROL: This position requires access to export-controlled technical data or technology. Employment is contingent upon thyssenkrupp's ability to obtain any required export authorizaton from the appropriate government agency or agencies.
