This is a hands-on operational finance role focused on financial accuracy, reporting consistency, and business visibility.This is not a traditional corporate accounting role. Maintaining discretion and protecting sensitive information is a core expectation of the position.⸻What You’ll OwnFinancial Accuracy & Reporting* Support and manage monthly close activities across multiple entities* Review financials for accuracy and consistency* Maintain clean and reliable: * P&L reporting * Balance sheets * Basic month-over-month reporting insights* Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issuesContract & Revenue Visibility* Maintain visibility into: * Contract values * Billing status * Delivery status * Remaining contract value* Ensure alignment between contracts, delivery, and financial reporting* Identify gaps between work completed, billing, and financial recordsProject & Margin Tracking* Track project-level revenue and estimated costs* Help identify projects that may be underperforming* Support leadership with clear operational financial visibilityForecast & Pipeline Support* Maintain rolling forecasts using existing financial and pipeline inputs* Help align financial reporting with operational and sales activity* Support visibility into future revenue and workloadSystems & Process Coordination* Work within: * QuickBooks * HubSpot * Internal financial trackers and reporting systems* Ensure data remains organized and aligned across systems* Help improve operational finance processes over timeExpense & Operational Oversight* Review expenses for accuracy and consistency* Help identify duplicate spend, unnecessary tools, or anomalies* Support operational financial discipline across the businessTeam Coordination* Work alongside existing bookkeeping support* Help improve consistency, structure, and accountability across workflows* Assist with implementation of repeatable financial processes⸻What You’re NOT Responsible For* Tax strategy or tax preparation* Executive-level financial strategy* Cash/investment management* Pricing or deal structuring* Accounts receivable collections ownership⸻What We’re Looking ForRequired* 4–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or financial operations* Strong QuickBooks experience* Strong organizational and analytical skills* High attention to detail* Comfortable working in evolving, fast-moving environments* Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills* Ability to independently identify issues and follow through* High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive financial informationNice to Have* Experience with project-based or contract-based businesses* Familiarity with HubSpot or CRM systems* Experience working across multiple entities* Experience supporting operational or services-based businesses⸻What Success Looks Like* Financial reporting is accurate, reliable, and organized* Contracts, delivery, and financial records stay aligned* Leadership has clear visibility into financial and operational performance* Monthly close becomes consistent and dependable* Systems and reporting processes become more structured over time⸻Why Join* High ownership and visibility* Direct collaboration with leadership* Opportunity to help build operational structure in a growing business* Strong growth potential as the company scales
