Division Order Analyst

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Division Order Analyst to join our team. The Division Order Analyst is responsible for determining, maintaining, and verifying  the ownership interests in oil and gas production for all wells operated or non-operated by the company. This role serves as the primary liaison between owners — including royalty interest, working interest, and overriding royalty interest holders — and internal departments such as Revenue Accounting, Land, and Legal. The analyst ensures accurate pay decks and timely, compliant disbursements in accordance with lease terms, regulatory requirements, and company policy. This is a remote position.  Primary Responsibilities  Review and process incoming division orders from operators and purchasersCalculate and verify complex divisions of interest from source recordsAnalyze and interpret title opinions, leasehold ownership reports, conveyances, assignments, leases, operating agreements, pooling and unitization agreements, and other title documents and oil & gas agreements to verify interests and update land recordsAssist the Land team in interpretation of leases in connection with division orders to determine if leases are held by production or if the lease has terminatedInvestigate and resolve issues related to division orders, ownership disputes, and payment discrepancies. Be a strong advocate of company interests to ensure proper revenue paymentsBuild a rapport with remitters of revenue and maintain effective communications to quickly reconcile interest discrepancies or assets held in suspense and ensure correct, timely revenue payments in accordance with the leases on company interestsMaintain and update ownership records in the firm’s land management systemsAssist in resolving accounting issues as neededMaintain lease, division order, and well recordsExperience:Irth, Pandell, Quorum, Land Solutions, Site Traker, etc or similar Data Base experience for Project Management
