Overview: The objective of this task order is to bring in a Contractor to provide information technology support services to assist the EO as they to provide mission critical operations support to the Office of the General Counsel. Background: The Executive Office (EO) provides resource planning, management, and execution, and establishes budget, administrative, human resources, and program governance and controls in support of the Office of the General Counsel’s (OGC) mission to provide legal services to the Department of Commerce and its operating units. The Executive Office formulates and executes the OGC annual budget; allocates and provides resources necessary to support the Assistant General Counsel Offices and Chief Counsel Offices; develops and implements internal controls and business process improvement; and develops and manages the implementation of OGC. Responsibilities: Ability to collect technical requirements and to create/develop Power Platform tools and maintain existing tools (using Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, etc.). Primarary Duties Dashboard visualizing actions for leadership – PAR times, Status of Funds, etc. Maintaining current Purchase Request Portal (in Teams Power App) and add improvements, such as connecting it to data in Sharepoint for further budget automation Creates user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet applications. Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms. Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Seccondary Duties Provide IT customer support to staff across , In-person tasks may be performed when there is a high volume of requests or to back up other staff members ability to work in a busy office and to be flexible responding to frequently shifting priorities. Schedule appointments for deployments and meetings using MS Outlook calendar. Barcode and track property distributed and received. Input provided data, including property data, into existing databases and spreadsheets and generate reports as requested Image new laptops and install mobile device management software Provide guidance to employees on deployment processes Deploy new equipment and troubleshoot issues that arise because of that deployment or throughout the course of day-to-day use. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems as they develop Troubleshoot video teleconferencing issues Work closely with IT Help Desk to input help desk tickets for issues on behalf of staff. Work closely to modify images or devices when policy changes occur Develop, provide and transmit effective communications, both orally and in writing. Proficiently execute word processing and data entry. Adeptly use Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Qualifications: Approximately 4 years of related experience. Related industry certifications. Power BI Dashboarding Experience Sharepoint Experience Power App Development Clearance: Public Trust Education: BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent).
