Job Description What You'll be OwningGRVTY is seeking a Software Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Laurel, MD. Applied Cyber Concepts requires foundational research, development, and prototyping that will exemplify real-world capabilities from the emerging applied cyber concepts research. The contractor shall create hardware and software component design specifications and use appropriate industry standard development methodologies and tools to implement those specifications. In addition to functionality features, the following shall be included in the designs: interfaces, security, performance, controls, databases, frameworks, and user experience. The contractor shall test and document results in accordance with the Government approved test plan.What You Must HaveActive TS/SCI with Polygraph ClearanceJAVAUnderstanding of other dependency tools: Gradle, Spring, Docker, GitLinux and bash terminalSeven (7) years' experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.What Would be Nice to HaveJavaScriptExperience with software development and engineering best practicesExperience with CI/CD processObject-oriented design and implementationDebugging and test validationPKI and X.509 infrastructurePay Range: At GRVTY, we understand that compensation is influenced by many factors—such as geographic location, federal contract labor categories, wage rates, prior experience, skillsets, education, and certifications.We're proud to offer a work environment that empowers our team to achieve a strong work-life balance.
