We believe in getting stuff done (GSD) and moving fast to make a big impact.Role Overview:We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack Developer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining our platform. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to bring new features and improvements to life, helping us scale and optimize our platform for our growing customer base.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain features for our loyalty and referrals platform using Ruby on Rails.Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of our platform.Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing codebase.Contribute to the development of internal tools to streamline processes and improve productivity.Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).Experience with database design and management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku) and DevOps practices.Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with third-party services.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Nice to Have:Experience working in a startup or small team environment.Familiarity with Shopify’s ecosystem or e-commerce platforms.Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration.What We Offer:Flexible work hours and remote work opportunities.A collaborative and growth-oriented work culture.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.The chance to make a significant impact in a small, agile team.
