Sheeter Operator- 2nd/3rd Shift

Position Purpose: Operate and understand a Dual Fly-Knife Rotary Sheeter with slitting, including roll handling and preparation, paper slitting and sheeting. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Run and maintain quality standards for flatness, surface quality, and dimensional accuracy while operating sheeter at standard efficiency Follow and adhere to schedule Scan all pallets when finished Successfully maintain paperwork and documents associated with orders Perform change overs in a timely manner Perform routine adjustments to equipment when needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment including the storage of materials and tooling All other assigned duties Skills/Abilities: To work independently and in a group setting To follow step by step setup procedures and work with close tolerances Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/16” and a caliper to .001 of an inch. To move heavy objects up to 50 lbs. To work in a fast-paced environment To understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English Quality Standards: Must be able to understand quality standards and perform quality checks.
