The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care while performing evaluations as well as developing and administering treatment plans for a wide variety of outpatient conditions. The ideal candidate has strong ortho background, has interest in spine care, general ortho care, and pelvic health background or willing to learn as part of the caseload. New grads welcome to apply if willing to learn skills needed in a large orthopedic setting.This is a full-time position working out of our Waconia location, must be flexible for schedule and varies based on experience. Weekend rotation.Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.Essential FunctionsRoutinely evaluate and treat outpatient conditions in consultation with physicianOccasionally evaluate and treat outpatient conditions under direct accessEffectively determine and apply a wide variety of therapeutic exercises, modalities, manual therapy, and other treatments in accordance with state practice actApply lawful and ethical use of therapy services in daily treatmentsDocument patient care services according to regulatory and department guidelinesDirect supervision of a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) may be requiredCollaborate with physicians, managers and staff across the organizationAbility to work in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic settingAbility to work a flexible schedule based on clinic needs including but not limited to variable shifts, multiple clinic locations, etc.Maintain safe environment for self, staff and patientsParticipate in continuing education in order to maintain state licenseRoutinely participate and share knowledge obtained from continuing education courses with staff and the community at the direction of the department or organization.Occasionally participate in community functions relating to TCO outreach events throughout the yearAny and all other duties as assignedEducation And Experience RequirementsGraduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program; Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s or Doctorate Degree preferredActive Minnesota state license in Physical Therapy in the state in which practicingBenefits & Compensation:  Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package - to learn more click here.Employees working 30+ hours per week (60 hours per pay period) are eligible for our Medical (w/Maternity Bundle), Dental & Vision plans, as well as Tuition Reimbursement.All employees, regardless of hours, are eligible for 401(k) w/ Profit Sharing, Employee Assistance Program, Lifetime Fitness Subsidy, Car Rental discounts, Home, Auto, & Pet insurance savings programs & more.Working ConditionsFrequently lift up to 50 pounds independently and occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously throughout the shift.Must be able to frequently perform physical activities such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.Visual acuity to read electronic and paper documents.Auditory ability to participate in phone or video calls clearly.Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computer, phone, printer).SettingClinicEssential Requirements: Ability to: Comply with company policies, procedures, practices, and business ethics guidelines. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.) Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance. Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately, and meet deadlines. Prioritize workload effectively.Communicate respectfully and professionally in face-to-face, phone and email interactions.
