Crop Account Manager

They will complement Sales Executive responsibilities in the surrounding states mainly MN, ND, SD, IA, and NE for new business development and existing client perpetuation.Your Job Responsibilities As a Crop Account ManagerWork with client/sales executive in gathering marketing data for new and renewal quotesObtain quotes from carriers for new and existing businessProvide exceptional service with accuracy and timeliness in processing all policy documentsDevelop and maintain relationships with carrier representatives and remain educated on carrier products and servicesMaintain quotes, client/carrier correspondence and updated client information in agency management systemAdvanced knowledge of carrier online systems for obtaining quotes, mapping, billing information, general processing, etc.Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve service issuesMay be involved in training of new hiresIdentifies opportunities for cross-sell and up-sellAssist in the process of claims to the extent of following industry standards for the carrier/clientContact clients as requested to set up appointments or answer questionsMaintain/update client data/activities on agency management systems for new policies/renewal policies/carrier downloadsBroaden knowledge of the industry with continuing educationFollows HUB Broker Standards policies/proceduresOther duties may be assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent from four-year college or university preferredAt least two years of experience related to property and casualty account management preferredExperience with Epic or other insurance related software preferredAn equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of minimum qualificationsState property and casualty insurance license, or ability to obtain, requiredKnowledge of insurance agency operationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeam player with a great attitude, self-motivation and the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skillsMust be thorough, detail-oriented and is responsible for working with confidential informationAbility to accommodate immediate requests, perform under short deadlines and coordinate multiple jobsAbility to function independently with minimal supervisionWhat makes us different than all the rest?Our Vision: To be everywhere risk exists – today and tomorrow.
