Base pay range$80.00/hr - $150.00/hrContract Duration: 6-8 weeks (mid-January through mid-March 2025)Time Commitment: 40 hours/weekReporting to: Chief of Staff to CEOLocation: Remote, with preference for Boston/Cambridge basedCompany: Clora's client is a clinical stage oncology biotech focusing on developing novel cancer therapies. The company is developing its Long-Range Plan (LRP) for Board review in Q1 2026. This contractor will provide short-term project management and analytical support to the Chief of Staff and broader SMT, enabling the company's leadership to focus on strategic frameworks, executive alignment, and strategic narrative development while ensuring rigorous execution of the planning process.ResponsibilitiesThis role provides analytical, process, and execution support to enable a rigorous, well-coordinated strategic planning process. Strategic direction, portfolio choices, and final narrative ownership remain with the Chief of Staff and SMT.Process Design & Input CoordinationCreate templates and assumption tracking system for core LRP assumptions (e.g., clinical development plans, resource requirements, budget submissions)Coordinate collection and validation of inputs across key functions and SMT stakeholders managing timelines, stakeholder follow-up, and status updatesSupport gathering of data needed to refine and validate key assumptions (e.g., external benchmarks, industry data)Work with CoS to build repeatable, streamlined system and document process to support future planning cyclesIntegration & Decision SupportConsolidate inputs into integrated LRP document and data model to articulate impact of strategic decisions and trade-offs as defined by the Chief of Staff and SMTCoordinate with external valuation modeling team to provide validated inputs and ensure consistency with approved assumptionsSupport scenario analysis and iterative revisions based on executive feedbackQuality Assurance & Board MaterialsConduct quality control on all data, narratives, and exhibitsCandidate Profile3-5+ years in strategy consulting (preferably tier-1 firm) or biotech/pharma strategic planningStrong project management skills with complex, multi-stakeholder initiativesStrong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detailAbility to engage effectively with senior executivesPreferred Experience: Prior LRP or strategic planning cycle experience, Biotech/pharma industry knowledge (clinical development, regulatory, business development), Board materials preparation, and Financial modelingSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: ContractJob function: Project Management and Strategy/Planning#J-18808-Ljbffr
