POSITION SUMMARYAs part of a thriving Global Partnerships team, Thrill Sports is looking to identify a Senior Director – Sales, Global Partnerships to drive the next phase of our growth across Thrill Sports entire portfolio of properties.The Senior Director – Sales, Global Partnerships will be a key member of the Commercial department. She/he will play a key role in driving revenue through all available commercial inventory across the portfolio utilizing industry-leading IP, live events, media, content, social and talent assets. It is required that every member of the department has the ability and desire to collaborate with others, share responsibilities outside of their core functions, celebrate wins and learn from losses as a team, and seek to create a culture of accountability, innovation, integrity, and high-performance.INDIVIDUAL DUTIES WILL INCLUDEDrive global partnerships for Thrill Sports in consultation with the Global Partnerships department and the Chief Revenue Officer through prospecting, pitching, negotiating and closing new brand partners.Cultivate omni-platform and cross-property sales that include live events, branded content, media and talent.Build and maintain a constant pipeline of prospective clients, agencies and key industry drivers.Conduct regular in-person meetings with brands and agencies to introduce and educate potential partners on the portfolio of brands, as well as pitch customized partnership solutions against desired partner objectives. Create and enhance non-traditional revenue streams that lead to new monetizable commercial assets.In conjunction with other members of the Commercial Partnerships team, liaise with relevant internal departments to identify assets to be monetized.Build best-in-class sales materials across all portfolio properties.Design custom packages and marketing solutions for brands to showcase the comprehensive offering available through Thrill Sports’ portfolio properties.Manage sales of branding integration, content, advertising inventory, product placement, talent endorsements, live event sponsorship sales, media sales and other such business-driving needs.Any other related tasks as directed by Thrill Sports.WE’RE INTERESTED IN CANDIDATES WHO HAVEMinimum of 6 years’ selling multi-million-dollar sponsorships in the sport, entertainment, music or media industry.Bachelor’s Degree required.Experience leading buyers and agencies through sales process from start to finish.Possess strong solution-based selling skills and has experience working with brands, marketing agencies and media buyers.Knowledge of the sports and entertainment sponsorship industry, including but not limited to market trends, innovative activation and executional strategies.Determined work ethic with a passion for delivering on group and individual objectives.Strong negotiation, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.Proven track record of securing renewal and upsells of partnerships.Ability to identify prospect’s needs, and pair with or build creative solutions to drive value for property and brand.Highly organized, with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.Ability to work as a member of a team-based revenue structure.Must be able to maintain a positive team-oriented attitude within the department and the company at large – as well as with guests, vendors, and our fans.Candidate must be willing to travel, work evenings, weekends, and holidays as requiredREPORTS TOChief Revenue OfficerLOCATIONLas Vegas, NV - Thrill Sports office is located within the UFC headquarters ABOUT THRILL SPORTSThrill Sports is a next-generation content company that lives at the nexus of sports, entertainment and lifestyle.
