We are looking for candidates with mobility and interest in growth, as we continue to open in major cities across North America Job DescriptionEataly's bustling marketplaces contain a variety of quick service counters featuring coffee and drinks, pastries and gelato, pizza and focaccia, paninis and grab-and-go meal options.The Quick Service Restaurants (QSR) Assistant General Manager oversees the complex day-to-day operations of QSR at a single Eataly location. Reports directly to QSR General Manager and supervises the QSR staff of service leads, baristas, sales associates and stockers.Collaborates closely with the QSR General Manager on all aspects of managementMonitors budget to ensure efficient operations and that expenditures stay within budget limitationsEnsures guest experience standards are consistently metMakes schedule and submits payroll for staff with approval of the QSR General ManagerHires, assigns, trains, motivates, evaluates and terminates employees as necessaryDocuments, investigates and resolves employee and guest incidentsEstimates food and beverage needs, and requisitions or purchases food, beverage, supplies and equipment; receives and checks orders to ensure that they adhere to specificationsSupervises cleaning and maintenance of equipment and counters according to Department of Health standards, and arranges repairs, contracts and other services when neededSends daily shift notes to the QSR General ManagerPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree2+ years of management experience in counter-service or retail environmentExceptional communication, leadership, motivational and teambuilding skillsDemonstrated problem-solving, organizational and analytical skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office and common retail POS system (for example, Micros)Experience and knowledge in coffee, coffee production and manual espresso machines Job RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squattingAbility to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer and cash register Additional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!
