Computer Skills Instructor

Ad Prima Charter Schools is a Blue Ribbon K-8 school in Philadelphia. Ad Prima is seeking a full time Computer Skills Instructor . Job responsibilities include the ability to teach students of different ability levels. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Teach courses in Computer Science following the course of study adopted by the school and curriculum.Utilize an adopted course of study, instructional program guidelines, and other materials in planning and developing lesson plans, and teaching outlines.Pursue a variety of methodology in teaching and instructing students including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands on experiences.Plan and develop a variety of instructional materials appropriate to support students at various ability levels.Coordinate with staff student successProvide instruction and support in citizenshipFoster a positive, safe, nurturing environment for staff and studentsMaintain positive relationships with staff, students, parents, and stakeholdersCoordinate and deliver professional development for staff and parentsOther Responsibilities as necessaryRequirements:PA Certification in the content area of interestBachelor's Degree (Required)Current clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting check
