Embedded Controls Engineer A fast-growing and highly successful communications technology company is looking for an experienced motion controls engineer to help design and deliver class-leading products for avionics and defense applications.This is a rare opportunity to work on true end-to-end development, with real technical ownership and impact across the full product lifecycle.You'd own motion control and embedded firmware development for high-accuracy systems. You’ll tune real motor control loops, develop firmware for custom motor controllers, integrate telemetry and remote ops, and build testing/calibration infrastructure for deployed hardware.Key skills:Real-world motor control and closed-loop tuningEmbedded C/C++ (RTOS, bare-metal, RT Linux)Servo drives and electromechanical integrationHardware interfaces: SPI, CAN, RS-485, EtherCAT, GPIOBoard-level debugging and schematic readingThis would suit someone who wants to work on complex, mission critical projects, where your contributions directly shape the final product.CompensationBase salary: $140,000 – $180,000 (depending on experience), plus additional compensationDue to the nature of government contracts, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
