Are you ready for new challenges and new opportunities?Join our team!Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.Subscribe to our RSS feeds to receive instant updates as new positions become available.Program Director - Community PartnershipTitle: Director, Community Partnership (CP)Reports to: Vice President, Community Resource ProgramsLocation: 692 Blake Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11207Hours: 35 Hours/Week; ExemptSchedule: 9 am- 5 pm or 10 am - 6 pm,required evenings and weekendsProgram Overview:The Community Partnership (CP) in East New York organizes local service and civic organizations, along with community residents, to provide primary prevention networks and resources for the benefit of the community.Key components of CP include:Building partnershipsCoordinating service referral and utilizationBuilding community capacity and social capital supportCommunity knowledge sharingCollaboration with ACS and other city agenciesThe Director will supervise all services offered by CP, ensuring professionalism and compliance with agency policy and contractual commitments. While there is an existing CPP network in East New York, the Director will be responsible for building out a new model for collaboration, community engagement, and service delivery.Major Duties:Directly supervise Community Organizer and Community Ambassador staffBuild strong relationships with current CP members and recruit new members to the CP networkWork with the CP Board to further create a governance team with appropriate skillsDesign and implement outreach and service delivery efforts that reach the East New York CommunityOrganize and facilitate monthly meetings and work group activities of the CP networkOrganize monthly trainings for community members and service providers on best practices in youth and family development and community developmentDevelop and implement staff training in collaboration with the Vice President that is conducive to staff learning needs and responsive to service delivery and advocacy in the communityImplement agency policy and proceduresMaintain community outreach in the designated community district to enhance services and maintain program impactOversee program evaluation and quality improvement activities in coordination with the Program Evaluation and Planning (PEP) DepartmentLead analysis of process and impact indicators, while developing recommendations with stakeholders in coordination with the PEP DepartmentEnsure all Administration for Children's Services (ACS) contract obligations are metRepresent agency on relevant internal and external coalitions, committees, and workgroupsEnsure physical site is maintained in accordance with agency standards, including coordination of space, administrative, and supervisory coverageWork collaboratively with other programs in the Community Resource Division, Community-Based Programs, and GSS as a wholePerform other responsibilities as assignedQualifications:Self-starter with creativity and innovation5 years of advanced supervisory experienceExperience living or working in the East New York Community preferredMust be able to be flexible to workrequired evenings and weekendsStrong administrative, community organizing, planning, and social work skillsJ-18808-Ljbffr
