This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, developer experience, and AI tooling.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild Our AI Productivity Measurement SystemInstrument and track AI tool adoption (Cursor, Claude Code)Measure suggestion acceptance and AI-assisted PR trendsConnect AI usage to real delivery outcomesImprove Engineering Flow & PredictabilityImplement DORA metrics (deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, recovery time)Build GitHub-based insights:PR cycle time (p50/p75)Review SLAsThroughput & WIP agingMerge ? deploy timingPublish weekly scorecards and identify bottlenecksProtect Quality While Increasing SpeedEnforce coverage standards (target: 80%)Monitor E2E health (Playwright pass rate, flakiness, time-to-fix)Track rework signals (churn, reverts, hotfixes)Ensure velocity gains don’t hide reliability regressionsBuild the Data & Automation LayerStandardize PR templates and labels (risk, AI usage, rollout plans)Automate ingestion from GitHub, CI/CD, and AI toolsDeliver a unified dashboard (team-level metrics only — no individual ranking)Establish privacy-conscious governance standardsWhat Success Looks Like (Within 6–12 months):PR cycle time improves measurablyRework and defect rates remain flat or declineReliability metrics do not regress as throughput increasesAI adoption clearly correlates with delivery improvementsEngineering leaders rely on your dashboards for decision-making.Required Skills & Qualifications6+ years of software engineering experience (platform or backend preferred)Experience with GitHub APIs, CI/CD systems, and engineering analyticsFamiliarity with DORA/Four Keys metricsExperience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright preferred)Strong systems thinking — able to balance speed, reliability, and sustainabilityComfortable working across engineering, platform, and leadership stakeholdersNice To HaveExperience with AI developer toolsExperience building internal analytics or developer platformsBackground in developer experience (DevEx) or engineering enablement.Education & ExperienceComputer science bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience.Compensation$91.55 per hour#37136440
