Construction Estimator

Charles E Thomas Company is a commercial General Engineering Contractor in bussiness since 1949 working in the Quick Service Restaurants, Convenience Stores, Gas Stations, House of Worship etc markets. We are looking for an in house estimator to review blueprint and put together a cost estimate. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, elevation and survey/soils reports. Responsibilities include * Attend job walks as required. * Prepare cost estimate * Obtain pricing from subcontractors and material vendors * Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors * Prepares detailed scope of work for subcontractors to bid on * Review bid requirements and prepare RFI’s for submittal to client as needed. * Solution and goal oriented * Team Player with strong work ethic * Ability to schedule work load to support project bid timelines * Skill in managing multiple projects Spanish speaking a plus.
