This role ensures exceptional guest service, operational excellence, and compliance with all company standards and regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational ExcellenceEnsure smooth and effective outlet operations in alignment with property standards.Monitor food and beverage sales by meal period vs. forecast; maintain accurate records and reporting.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and government food service regulations.Reduce service deficiencies and proactively address potential guest concerns.Attend staff meetings and maintain clear communication within the department.Guest ExperienceDevelop new and repeat business through strong guest engagement and relationship-building.Handle and relay guest compliments and complaints to appropriate leadership.Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions as needed.Communicate directly with guests and provide informed menu and beverage recommendations.Ensure guests consistently receive the highest quality of product and service.Financial & Administrative OversightSupport outlet profitability in accordance with established budgets.Prepare work schedules and submit bi-weekly payroll.Maintain accurate sales data and operational documentation.Leadership & DevelopmentFollow all personnel policies and procedures when taking action regarding team members.Lead, coach, and develop junior team members in hospitality and business skills.Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and service excellence.RequirementsOVERVIEW/BASIC FUNCTION:Responsible for the successful management and profitability of a food and beverage outlet.ExperienceMinimum one (1) year of experience as a Manager-in-Training or Supervisor in a Food & Beverage department within a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel or restaurant environment.EducationBachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Business, or related field - or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Core CompetenciesStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.Skilled in social and business etiquette.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Strong leadership and team development capabilities.Technical ExpertiseKnowledge of hotel/resort operations including quality assurance, marketing, and sales principles.Experience with luxury/ultra-luxury market positioning.Demonstrated understanding of hospitality systems and software.Solid financial acumen, including profit & loss and cash flow analysis.Ability to interpret performance metrics and industry trends to drive revenue.Language & Physical RequirementsFluency in English required; additional languages preferred.Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with restaurant operations.
