Category:ProfessionalCity:MilanState:TennesseeShift:8 - Day (United States of America)Job Description Summary:Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Clinician, Non-Licensed, or "Clinician", isresponsible for outpatient mental and behavioral health services provided to a caseload of clients.Responsible for offering best-practice, trauma-informed, designated mental health services tochild, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups including but not limited to individual, couple,family, and group therapy.1. Performs functions with clients and staff in gender-, spiritually-, economically- andculturally-responsive, trauma-informed, humble, kind, and competent ways2. Follows HIPAA guidelines and maintains the highest level of confidentiality and privacy atall times when dealing with client information, paying special attention to any additionalrisks present when using telehealth software and programming3. Provides therapeutic services to assigned caseload in ways that seek to promoteindividual, program and system-level approaches that foster health and resilience,increase necessary supports while reducing gaps in service and barriers to socialinclusion4. Provides brief individual, family, group and marital counseling with children, adolescents,adults, families, and couples with the provision of collateral counseling as needed5. Facilitates equitable services for recipients in person and via telehealth and telephonicoptions as needed, safe, appropriate, and beneficial6. Completes intakes and makes referrals any additional services needed including but notlimited to Agency-based individual therapy, medication evaluation and management,group therapy, and case management7. Provides coordination and follow-up monitoring of services rendered to the client andfamily as needed8. Maintains or exceeds productivity standards9. Develops and/or maintains a Treatment Plan related to clients' presenting problems andutilizing objectives and interventions that supports client strengths, goals, and choice10. Completes and/or ensures the completion of all appropriate documentation in a timelymanner with correct and appropriate tone, grammar, and syntax. This includes but is notlimited to Progress Notes, Informed Consents & Permission to Treat, OrientationAcknowledgement, Medical History, Assessments, etc.11. Collaborates effectively with clients, outside agency personnel, family members, andinternal agency personnel including but not limited to supervisors, therapists, physicians,nurses, and case managers to ensure continuity of care12. Provides crisis assistance in situations when immediate attention is warranted13. Provides community education, awareness, and support regarding of mental health andother relevant issues as able14. Provides reporting of work activity to Clinical Manager as requested15. Participates in staffing and supervision with a Licensed Clinician or Licensed ClinicalSocial Worker as scheduled based on experience per policy as part of an overallstructured supervision system for non-licensed clinicians, and displays evidence of thevalue of lifelong learning as related to best practices in client care16. Participates in Quality Assurance & Improvement, Utilization Management, and otheragency and system functions17.
