Tool & Die Maker

Job Description We have an immediate opening for a Tool & Die Maker to work in a well equipped manufacturing facility with a modern CNC, CAD/CAM, wire EDM equipped tool room.Minimum 3 years experience with progressive and single hit die making, repair and troubleshooting.Qualifications:• Journeyman Tool & Die Maker -MIN. 3yr experience. Please do not apply without necessary experience.Responsibilities/Duties:• Perform or assist on new tool builds and die repair/maintenance for progressive and single hit dies• Troubleshoot "in the press" . Evaluate production repair situations and provides direction as to the type of repairs to be made• Operate all tool room equipment• Perform change-overs as needed• Ensure that the work area is clean, safe, and everything in its proper place• Identifies and implements improvements needed to increase tooling performanceWork in a team environment supporting any duties or functions needed.Current weekly hours are 6am-4:30pm M-FSaturdays are worked (5hrs) when Tool room load requires the extra time to meet deadlines occasionallyWe offer a safe, clean work environment, medical, vision, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid vacation and holidays, attendance awards and moreCompany DescriptionSince 1978, Ronlen Industries has served the metal stamping needs of a wide variety of manufacturers.
