Lifeguard

Hours: 2-6 hours per week Key Responsibilities:Safety Supervision:Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.Enforce pool rules and regulations, including proper conduct Respond to emergencies, administer first aid, and perform rescue operations if necessary.Customer Service:Greet and assist pool guests with a friendly and professional attitude.Provide information on pool rules, hours of operation, and special events.Address and resolve any concerns or complaints from guests.Maintenance and Cleanliness:Ensure the pool area, including decks and surrounding spaces, is clean and well-maintained.Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of pool usage, incidents, and safety checks.Complete incident reports as needed and follow up on any required actions.Special Events:Help support any special events such as a recreation league, class or pool activityEmergency Preparedness:Be prepared to handle various emergency situations, including medical emergencies and natural disasters. Qualifications:Certification: Current certification in CPR, first aid, and lifeguarding Skills: Strong swimming ability, good observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with people of all ages.Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks related to lifeguarding duties, including swimming and rescue operations.Experience: Previous experience as a lifeguard and/or swim instructor in a similar role is preferred but not required.Additional Notes:The Lifeguard must adhere to all safety protocols and policies set by the clientOngoing training and certification renewal may be required to stay updated with industry standards and practices.recblid uszgsod8g2mshnlqwc0gpex9w5uvej
