All internals must have Manager’s approval to transfer.Location: Hybrid- 3 days per week onsite at our Herndon, VA officeJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated FinOps Analyst to support cloud financial management across multiple platforms, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. This role will be responsible for cost optimization, financial reporting, and collaborating with solution owners and stakeholders to drive cost-efficient cloud usage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable presenting FinOps insights to both technical and non-technical audiences. A strong ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve issues is essential for success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor, analyze, and optimize cloud spending across AWS, Azure, and GCP environmentsDevelop and deliver regular financial reports and insights to solution points of contact (POCs) and leadershipPartner with engineering, architecture, and business teams to implement cost optimization strategiesTrack budgets, forecasts, and variances for cloud servicesCreate dashboards and reporting tools to provide visibility into cloud usage and costsPresent FinOps topics, recommendations, and best practices to stakeholders across the organizationSupport governance processes related to cloud financial managementIndependently troubleshoot discrepancies in cloud billing, reporting, and usage data without requiring guidanceInvestigate and resolve issues related to cost anomalies, tagging inconsistencies, and reporting gapsAssist in identifying and implementing automation opportunities for cost tracking and reporting Required Qualifications2+ years of hands-on experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost management strategiesProven ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical and financial discrepanciesExperience with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Analytical mindset with attention to detail Preferred QualificationsFinOps certifications from the FinOps Foundation (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner, FinOps Certified Professional)Hyperscaler certifications such as:AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, or Cost Management-related specialtiesMicrosoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Administrator, or Azure Solutions ArchitectGoogle Cloud Digital Leader, Associate Cloud Engineer, or Professional Cloud ArchitectExperience with SAP products such as BTP and HANAFamiliarity with cost management tools (e.g., native cloud cost tools or third-party platforms)Basic coding/scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or similar)Experience building dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similarKnowledge of automation and cloud-native financial toolingKey CompetenciesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and resolve issues without supervisionAbility to communicate complex financial and technical concepts clearlyCollaboration and stakeholder managementAdaptability and ability to multitaskContinuous learning mindset in cloud and financial operationsBring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 90000-198500USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
