Wealth Operations Associate II

WHO are we looking for? CAPTRUST is seeking a Wealth Operations Associate II who will provide support for the onboarding of new CAPTRUST client accounts. This position acts as a liaison between internal CAPTRUST departments and our custodians (Charles Schwab, Fidelity, and Pershing Advisor Solutions). The candidate must maintain the highest professional and ethical standards, be well-organized, service-oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Must be adaptable, show ability to retain information and possess a strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.Responsibilities:Deliver exceptional, proactive service and become a trusted partner to internal teams and custodians primarily in onboarding client investment accountsReview and process both internal and custodian documentation related to new account setup for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with custodial requirements and contractual agreementsIdentify and resolve common NIGO (Not In Good Order) issues to prevent processing delaysComplete all duties within required timeframes with the highest attention to detail and accuracyEscalate issues or challenges prior to a missed deadlineTake full ownership of all tasks/assignments until completion, including resolution of any issues that may ariseBuild strong relationships with internal colleagues from various offices and our custodian partnersSeek and apply coaching and feedbackPerform other duties and special projects independently or with a team as required by the Wealth Operations or Wealth Client Service departments, including firm-wide initiatives Minimum Qualifications:Completion of a four-year college degree or equivalent experience in the following areas (but not limited to): Accounting, Business Administration, Operations, Statistics, Finance, Financial Planning or Economics, or equivalent years of experience2-3 years’ experience working in operations, back office, or client service within the financial services industryUnderstanding the general purpose and types of common investment accountsWorking knowledge of custodian paperwork and investment advisory contractsTechnical proficiency in navigating CRM system and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Desired Qualifications/Skills:Demonstrates understanding of operational workflows and the downstream impacts of actions on account processing, client experience, and internal teamsOrganizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage time-sensitive tasks simultaneouslyFlexibility to handle changing priorities, pressure, and short deadlinesProactive in task follow-up, stays ahead of deadlines, excellent time-management skillsDemonstrates ability to efficiently manage assigned work using task and case queues in CRM systemPositive attitude and a team playerAbility to quickly learn new technology, systems, and processesSelf-motivated; ability to work well independently and with othersAnalytical thinker and problem solverExperience inputting or processing data in various systems with the ability to quickly grasp financial and investment conceptsEnergized by change and ability to think "outside the box" regarding process improvementA high standard of professionalismExceptional written and verbal communication skillsNotable attention to detailAbility to navigate spreadsheets using formulasWHAT can you expect from your career at CAPTRUST?Our colleagues, like our clients, tend to stay with CAPTRUST for years.
