The OpportunityAs the Training and Communications Specialist, you will provide project-based administrative, coordination, and implementation support across the Social Security Administration's Ticket to Work (TTW) Program beneficiary outreach, Employment Network (EN) recruitment, and EN training/ technical assistance activities. You will support outreach campaign execution, paid content delivery coordination, webinar and training logistics, documentation, compliance tracking, and reporting aligned with contractual requirements. You will also ensure that approved plans, materials, and events are executed accurately, accessibly, and on schedule. This position is contingent upon award of the project to Abt Global.Core ResponsibilitiesCommunications SupportSupport the coordination and delivery of approved outreach products, including website content, emails, blogs, videos, social media posts, and paid media assets.Assist with paid content delivery operations, including:Tracking campaign timelines and run datesCoordinating creative files, captions, and metadataSupporting documentation and approvals prior to placementMaintain outreach content calendars for blogs, social posts, GovDelivery messages, text campaigns, and paid media.Support text messaging campaigns by:Tracking opt-ins/opt-outs and engagement metricsMaintaining documentation related to TCPA compliance and privacy policy updatesAssist with preparation, scheduling, and follow-up for outreach events, conferences, and job fairs as approved by SSA.Support the drafting, formatting, and posting of approved blog content, ensuring accessibility and version control.Maintain organized records of outreach activities, approvals, and performance metrics for reporting.Support end-to-end webinar logistics, including:Registration setup and trackingSpeaker scheduling and coordinationAgenda formatting and postingCaptioning, accessibility checks, and platform preparationSupport collection and reporting of required webinar dataSupport posting of approved webinar materials and summaries following events.EN Recruitment OutreachAssist with EN recruitment outreach execution, including email campaigns, virtual events, and conference follow-up.Support maintenance of recruitment materials and instructions posted on the service provider website.Track and compile data on recruitment activities for inclusion in Monthly Contract Progress ReportsTraining and Technical Assistance SupportSupport development and updating of training materials (slides, handouts, job aids, agendas) under staff direction.Assist with maintaining EN welcome packages, training resources, and web-based materials.Help track completion of mandatory EN trainings and escalate exceptions per defined processes.Assist ENs and training staff by coordinating materials and follow-up for remediation or refresher trainings.Ongoing EN / VR / SSA TrainingCoordinate logistics for virtual and in-person training sessions:Calendaring and invitationsPlatform setup and testingAccessibility requirements (captioning, transcripts, relay info)Assist with preparation of agendas, presentations, and meeting materials for:Quarterly EN and VR meetingsPayment-focused sessionsAWIC and SSA-supported meetingsWhat We ValueBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, public relations, training, psychology, or related fieldExperience supporting training logistics, webinars, or outreach communicationsExperience supporting the development and management of paid social advertising strategies, including campaign setup, and performance tracking using platform analytics tools.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and virtual meeting platformsStrong organizational and coordination skills across multiple concurrent activitiesComfort working with webinar platforms, Learning Management Systems, scheduling tools, and content management systemsPosition will require the ability to obtain Level 5 suitability screening (Public Trust Position Positions) with SSA (including fingerprinting).What We ?
