Patient Care Coordinator

CRM's Orlando Avenue Surgery Center (OASC) is a state-of-the-art surgery center located in Winter Park, FL. OASC is a multi-specialty surgery center with a focus on women's health/GYN.We have an immediate opening for a qualified Patient Care Coordinator to fill a full-time position. This is an exciting and challenging position with a surgery center that continues to grow.Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with Saturday and holiday rotation required.Job DutiesResponsible for the daily coverage of reception area including greeting and registering patients and ensuring a smooth flow of operation and customer satisfactionProvide direction and instruction for the completion of patient documentation and all items needed by the surgery center for new and returning patientsObtain insurance information for new and returning patients for verification of benefitsCollect and process patients’ payments and other patient financial activities as directedManage the organization of patient charts, including entries into electronic medical charts and filing of physical chartsEducation/Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferredAt least one year of medical administrative experience REQUIREDExperience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system strongly preferredBilingual Spanish a plus!Excellent communications and computer skills; capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.Women's health experience a plus.Why You'll Love Working Here – Our Amazing BenefitsComprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision plans for our full-time employees, along with complimentary basic life insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and long-term disability insurance.
