Role Description Oberman Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Dispatcher for a full-time, on-site role located in Huntingdon, TN. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the timely and effective dispatching of drivers to ensure efficient delivery of goods. Responsibilities include managing schedules, communicating with drivers, addressing delays, ensuring compliance with transportation regulations, and maintaining records of routes and shipments. The person in this role will act as the central point of contact, ensuring smooth operational flow and resolving any arising challenges effectively. Qualifications Experience in dispatching, route planning, and coordinating transportation schedulesProficiency in communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolutionAbility to operate dispatch software, monitor systems, and maintain accurate recordsStrong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detailKnowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standardsAdaptability to handle high-pressure situations and unexpected changesHigh school diploma or equivalent; prior logistics or transportation experience is a plusAbility to work on-site in a fast-paced environment
