School Bus Fleet Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Madison, WICompensation: $26–$32 per hourSchedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday. Work an 8-hour day within 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.What a Day Looks LikeYou start by checking overnight reports and prioritizing safety-critical items for a mixed fleet of short buses and Ford vans that serve special education routes. Your morning may include fluid changes, filter swaps, greasing chassis points, and running through a basic inspection checklist. Midday, you'll assist a senior tech on a brake and suspension job, then complete an electrical diagnostic on a van with intermittent lighting issues.
