Job Brief
Finance Manager serves a critical role in the company’s funding strategy and forecasting for future business security. This job collaborates with local company executives, and frequently interfaces and delivers reports to HQ. This is a critical role within the company supervising treasury, accounting, costing and reporting, and expects utmost dedication to preparing the company for success.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and purchasing.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishes, modifies, and coordinates the implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
Prepares, analyzes, and reconciles all financial statements and related reports including but not limited to balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
Prepares ROI analyses for all business expenses.
Provides specialized analyses in support of all business functions.
Provides analysis and evaluation of business strategies.
Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares, analyzes and reconciles monthly financial statements.
Manages all budget process activities; forecasts all company operational and financial aspects.
Provides management, local and abroad, with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress.
Provides supervision of company payroll processes.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Reports operational results to HQ (Korea) monthly and quarterly in the standardized forms provided by HQ
Prepares consolidated financial statements quarterly and delivers “Quarterly IFRS package” report to HQ
Ad-hoc reporting for customers
Determines the cost of inventory and make a necessary inventory valuation adjustment upon review
Understands manufacturing costing in SAP, reviews cost drivers monthly, and make a necessary adjustment
Supervises FI closing and performs CO closing
Prepares annual and 5 year midterm budgets respectively
Works with the outside tax filers to file tax returns for the company
Coordinates the half-year and year-end financial audits with the accounting firms
Other duties as required and assigned
Experience
Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year College or university in Finance or Business, and three to five years of related experience and/or training.
Computer skills required: SAP ERP, Microsoft Office Suite
Must have extensive experience in the field of cost accounting.
6-8 years’ experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to make decisions on imperfect information.
