This position operates equipment that fills paper "milk-style" cartons with various flavorings as part of a food production process.The Machine Operator is responsible for running the filling machine, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting minor issues if the machine stops or malfunctions. This role is critical to maintaining consistent product quality and production flow.This is a fast-paced production environment that requires strong attention to detail, mechanical awareness, and the ability to stay focused throughout the shift.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor carton-filling machineryPerform basic troubleshooting when the machine shuts down or experiences minor issuesEnsure product quality and accurate filling of cartonsCommunicate effectively with team members across the production lineMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety and GMP guidelinesProduction Line Overview (may assist in all three functions):The machine operator runs and monitors the filling machineThe line support team member ensures machine flow and performanceBulk Operator packages finished cartons into boxes and stacks boxes onto skidsQualifications:Prior machine operator experience requiredFood production experience preferredStable work historyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the shiftStrong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical issuesComfortable working in a fast-paced production environmentGMP & Safety Requirements:Candidates must be comfortable following strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines, including:Hair nets and beard nets are requiredNo jewelry of any kind, including dermal piercingsNo fake nails, fake eyelashes, or nail polishCompliance with all food safety and cleanliness standards
